Flash Web Game Christmas Catastrophie for 2011

Merry Christmas Everyone!

This year for my Flash online Greeting Card, I created a Flash Game based on my 10-year-old Niece’s board-game that she created and illustrated.

Christmas Catastrophie Game Board

Try to get your sleigh around town and to the milk and cookies first! If you land at a nice house you get to move forward 2 spaces, but if you land on a naughty house you have to move back 4 spaces. Along the way you can hit Card spaces. Playing a card can have interesting effects! And if you land on the entrance of the rainbow bridge, you may find an animated shortcut! Christmas Catastrophie can be played 1 player against a computer or 2 players with a mouse and keyboard and is suitable for all ages. I hope you can take a moment a play!

I launched a new website this October with New York City design partner Phixative for published author Paul Barrett and his new book Glock, The Rise of America's Gun.

Features for the Glock the Book website include:

  • Embeded video of externally hosted media
  • Flash video with large screen veiwing solution
  • Multiple recipient email form with captcha technology to reduce spam

I was the sole production designer and developer. The site is coded on an .ASP foundation, with normalized includes for easy updates and maintenance, and is CSS2, table-less design. Phixative provided the PSDs and the Content and I handled the rest.

Mage’s Memory is an arcade style revamp of the classic memory matching game.

Mage’s Memory has 15 levels, 3 bonus rounds, Achievements, Power-Ups, 3 different rune sets and even posts game scores to Twitter.

I provided Flash Development services for a great client, an NYC Design Studio. They provided me with PSD comps and I took care of the rest.

This Holiday piece of interactive allowed users to interact with the brands WG&S distributes, and upon click revealed a cocktail recipe card.

Along with festive music and a minimal preloader, this was a great Holiday Flash card.

Ideal Concepts needed a portfolio to promote a library of 125+ assets, including television, video, radio, print media, music and interactive.
In addition the owner needed the same Flash portfolio to serve as their personal portfolio as well as the business portfolio, while keeping the two entities separate from the user, but giving only one site to maintain.

I was the sole resource for X-O Corp’s 2010 site redesign. Among our top priorities were an all custom look and feel representing the Company’s product, a naturally based odor neutralizer.

This flash based site has deep link functionality for displaying pages from previously indexed static URLs, as well as static HTML page alternatives for smart phones.

The "Where to Buy" with vendor information and locations is dynamically fed via XML from a .ASP pull of a back end database. Admin forms were built and provided for mainting the Vendor information in the Database.
