A technology provider in NYC came to me with a need for a Flash photo player that they could control via XML from a SharePoint broadcast.

The navigation and controls are dynamic, any number of photos can be delivered to the player, and I even built in a debug window they can pull up inside the player when it’s live for debugging their XML.

An independent client of mine in NYC came to me with a project being held hostage by the development company.
One week late of launch, the development company was demanding more time and more money. Having already paid the development company in full, having allready given a 6-week development time, the client turned to me for help.

I stepped in and reviewed the work and realized the retained company did not have a chance at success, even with the additional time and money demanded.

I took on the work and together with an .ASP developer launched the project from scratch in 10 days.
The client provided the PSD comps and we took care of the rest.

Trademark Carwash already had good search engine indexing and online presence. They needed a nice site that resembled their print marketing and got a lot of information in to one easy-to-use space.

Napa Branding came to me with 2 screenshots for examples of look and feel and about five paragraphs of ideas.
I shaped those ideas into a user experience and added the "Your Story" narrative of the customers and their visions of their brands of wine. The site was pitched in a 22-page PDF which not only displayed all pages as they would be built but transitions of animations.

This 8-song LP debut by Monarch White was written, performed and recorded using Cubase VST and high-end home-recording equipment. The CD was mastered by Crystal Clear of Dallas, Texas and was featured in Broadjam’s Platinum Blue contest where it was ranked with "Viable Hit Potential". We have no idea what that means, but the fans seem to like it.

I have done many sets of Flash Ad Banners for many brands, incuding but not limited to:

  • Diet Coke
  • Prilosec OTC
  • Pizza Hut
  • Secret
  • Baylor Health
  • Iams

I particularly enjoyed these TAG series as I was largely at liberty to come up with my own sequences of animations and transitions, which turned out to be a big hit with everyone.

The reskin for the Art Institute’s Admission CD
was an extensive redesign of look and feel and functionality.

With an XML driven location selector, content dependent upon location, and a completely revamped navigation and content stage, reworking what had been done before was highly challenging.

What do you do when you want to pitch a website, but you don’t want to just pitch a static PDF or a bunch of JPGs?

You go to interactive and you have them build a faux functional version of the comps in Flash.
Drop downs, search functionality, callout interaction, everything simulated in a full browser Flash simulation. In just a couple of days, and just in time for the big pitch.

There is a particular kind of satisfaction seeing your work live in its native environment, but it’s another kind of double-take when you log into your Yahoo Email and see your work staring back at you.

This Diet Coke Flash Banner I built displayed the user’s local time, and was part of the Diet Coke kitchen campaign emphasizing great nutrition in tandem with Diet Coke.
